On April 29th, 1958 Imperial Glass Corporation formally purchased the assets of Heisey which had closed their doors during Christmas 1957. As Imperial had actually been producing a number of items for Heisey since September, 1957, production of "Heisey by Imperial" quickly geared up to meet the customer demands. As they had purchased everything, including the trademark "Diamond H", no thought was given about removing it from the existing molds. After learning about the growing confusion in the marketplace, they decided to remove the mark from all production molds. After 1967, all items produced from the original Heisey molds either was unmarked or carried the intertwined IG mark.
This section contains only "Diamond H" trademark items which have identified by either color or paper label as Heisey items produced by Imperial.
